Dunham Associates, a leading mechanical and electrical engineering firm in sustainable design, was awarded LEED – Commercial Interiors (CI) – Silver Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) for its office space in downtown Minneapolis. In addition to being the first LEED-CI award in Minnesota, the Dunham office was also the first project to achieve LEED Certification of any type in the City of Minneapolis. Dunham’s office was designed to achieve LEED Certification through reduced energy, water and material use, as well as incorporating a variety of other sustainable strategies. As an industry leading mechanical and electrical engineering firm, Dunham offers high-quality engineering services and innovative high-performance design of mechanical and electrical systems for aviation, commercial, educational, healthcare, hospitality and retail facilities. Located in downtown Minneapolis, the firm has approximately 100 employees, including over 40 LEED Accredited Professionals.
