The EIC is an area located along the planned central corridor light rail and is a showcase of energy efficiency, renewable energy, transportation and smart technology.
The Energy Innovation Corridor will encourage the use of renewable energy and energy efficiency, deploy large-scale solar systems, develop infrastructure for plug-in hybrid vehicles, and demonstrate the capabilities of emerging energy technologies.
The Energy Innovation Corridor extends approximately one-quarter mile on either side of the proposed 11-mile Central Corridor light rail transit project route.
Through grassroots community participation, residents and businesses of the Energy Innovation Corridor are reducing their energy use.
